Lucinda, I have looked.I found a deed between Peter Cock and Braxton Cox but I need something to show Peter as a child of John Cock which is before his Floyd Co days and more his Grayson/Carroll Co. days. Do you know if John Cock left a will? Not that it would help since he remarried and would probably name kids of his 2nd family.
John Cock did serve in the War of 1812 and recieved a pension (or something from that) I waiting on the material from National Archives but not holding my breath there either. If you think of anything I'd appreciate a heads up. susan
