If you wish to find records of just about any kind, go to:
LIBRARY of VIRGINIA
800 E. Broad Street
Richmond, VA 23219
I played around with books by different authors and I got nowhere until I started my research with actual records. You can also go to the courthouses in the counties that your ancestors resided in. I found out when I researched actual records that alot of the information in the books I had read was misinformation.
