Elk Creek Baptist Church

I am looking for an Elk Creek Baptist Church that would have existed in Grayson Co. prior to 1850. I am hoping to find a link to my White ancestor, Alfred White who lived in Grayson Co. in 1850, and reportedly attended this church. He was the son of Robert White, and the entire family made a habit of going back and forth between Grayson Co. Va. and Ashe Co. NC prior to moving to Wise Co. Va. and southeastern Ky about 1860.

Would appreciate any help. Available records are as "bouncy" about their place of birth as the family was about settling down.

Carol
