Hello I hope that someone can help with my research on my Moore family line. I have first a George Moore married to a Wilimouth Garrett Carlton. George and Wilimouth Moore where living in Mathews County during the 1850 census. By 1860 they were in Gloucester. They had the following children:
1) Robert Moore born about 1840, died young and burried somewhere in Little Cuba.
2)George William Moore born March 24,1845,he married Virginia Frances Fleming on December24,1874,he died June 30,1908 and is burried in Bethany Methodist Church in Gloucester along with his wife.
3)Charles Thomas Moore born February 20, 1849, he married Annie Mildred Fleming on September 4,1877,he died June 11, 1917 in Bena Virginia and is burried in Bethany Methodist Church in Gloucester along with his Wife.
4)Lucy Emily Moore born September 12,1852,she marred George Thomas Smither on December 22, 1869 in Gloucester.
5)I have not determind yet if James W. Moore is a son or not. I only see him listed with the family in the 1850 census. He was born about 1847.
Willimouth Garrett Carlton Moore is buried in Bethany Methosdist Church. The notes that I have from great Aunts things, states that The Moore family was burried in the Rowe Burial Ground. The Burial ground was somewhere near Bethlehem Methodist Church in Bena,Gloucester, Virginia. Later Most of the Family remains where moved to Bethany Methodist Church. Charles Thomas Moore's death certificate supports this claim.

My Great Grandmother was Annie Garrett Moore, the daughter of George William Moore and Virginia Frances Fleming. I would love to find out more about the family. I have lots of questions and much info to share. I would love to hear from anyone related to this family. I also would like to mention, that The family went to Bethlehem Methodist Church. My great grandmother was baptisted there. I hope to hear from some new cousins soon. Thanks to all. I look forward to sharing. Take Care. Until later.
