Sarah Fleming and James Croswell

I would love someone's help with this couple. For sure I have some documented information on them but they simply disappear by the time the 1870 census was taken. I would appreciate any help I can receive from anyone-even if it is to tell me I have many "facts" wrong. So here goes:

James Thomas Fleming b abt 1798 in Va, d 1/7/1858 in Gloucester
is BELIEVED to have married Mary Bohannon in Va. She d 12/25/1840 in Gloucester.
They had Sarah Fleming b abt 1837 in Gloucester

She married James Croswell 9/25/1856 in Gloucester (he is said to have been born abt 1827)
James and Sarah had the following issue:
Frances Alex b 7/1857
Louisa B b abt 1860
Hezekiah b abt 1862

As stated above I cannot find them in the 1870 census. Am I just missing them or what? Please help, this whole Fleming family is crazy! Thanks, Linda J Fleming
