I am an archaeologist working at Fairfield, the home of the Gloucester County branch of the Thruston family from 1787 to 1847, roughly. We are looking to find out more about the Thrustons that actually lived at Fairfield but are running into walls left and right. Let us know if we can help you in any way. After John Thruston inherits Fairfield in 1816, we really don't know what happens, i.e. who the property goes to at his death, who is living at Fairfield when, etc...Let us know if you'd like yo come out to the site for a visit.
