I have several Reynolds cousins in Giles Co Va in the late 1800's. I am trying to identify the earlier Reynolds there.
Can anyone identify which line this family is from. 1880 Census, Pearisburg, Giles Co VA

In 1848 a John Reynolds received a land treasury warrant of about 22 acres in of Giles on the south side of John's Creek Mountain. Which John Reynolds was this? The land was described as being next to the property of a William Trout and a Mr. George.
