Looking for Grant and Rosa (Wickline) who had childern born Giles County in Newport. Narvel Raines B Oct 1892 m abt 1910 Monroe County West Virginia Ellen M Meredith B 1 May 1890 Lendside, Monroe County West Virginia., William Courtland Raines B Aug 1896,Frankie Howard Raines B 1898, Cecil Peck Raines B Jan 1900,Dewey Nelson Raines B Nov 1904. The father Grant Raines born 1865 in Monroe County West Virginia and his wife Martha Rosanna Wickline was born 2 June 1872 in Monroe County, West Virginia. Who were her parents?) They were married 2 July 1891 in Giles County Virginia (do not know the town). They had a daughter born in Monroe County West Virginia Ann Myrtle Raines B Aug 1894. These two counties connect and this family may have lived same place but had childern born in two states. Can someone help me find documentation on this family? Is there someone there who can do lookups on these births and marriages? Perhaps there is a record of land sale as this family moved to Kansas ca. 1905 or 1906. Need parents and siblings of Grant Raines and his wife Martha Rosanna Wickline who could have been in either Giles or Monroe county. Any help would be greatly appreciated and I thank you.
