Seeking information on the family and origins of Tarlton and Uriah BELL, who appear in the 1810 and 1820 Census of Giles Co. VA. Were they brothers? Who were their parents?

Giles Co. VA land records show that in 1812, Adam and Jacob TAYLOR sold to Tarlton BELL a parcel of at the mouth of Little Creek on Sinking Creek; witnesses were Joseph TAYLOR and Robert HUNTER. In 1814, Adam TAYLOR sold to Robert HUNTER another parcel on Sinking Creek; witnesses Joseph TAYLOR and Tarlton BELL. And on 5 Aug 1814, Adam TAYLOR made a will naming Henry TROUT and Tarlton BELL executors. All of these men all lived on Sinking Creek near the village of Huffman, in that part of Giles Co. that later (1860) became Craig Co. VA. Most of them were also related by blood or marriage –- Adam, Jacob and Joseph TAYLOR were brothers, Henry TROUT m. their sister Nancy Anna TAYLOR, and Robert HUNTER m. Adam’s dau. Betsy TAYLOR. In addition, Joseph TAYLOR was the father of the Nancy Ann TAYLOR who m. 1818 to Uriah BELL.
All of this leads me to conclude that Uriah is the younger brother of Tarlton BELL and the second male, age 10-16, who appears in Tarlton’s 1810 household. There would appear to be another sibling in this household, a sister age 10-16 who has not been identified, in addition to Tarlton’s young wife Margaret and two baby daughters. By 1820, Uriah has m. and begun a family of his own, and Tarlton has moved on to Lee Co. VA. I believe that the farm where Uriah was enum. 1820 is the same parcel that Tarlton bought in 1812 from Uriah’s now-uncles, Adam and Jacob TAYLOR, and perhaps the same farm on which Tarlton was enum. 1810. The position of the BELL, HUNTER, TAYLOR, and TROUT names on the semi-alphabetical census indexes of 1810 and 1820 do indicate that they all lived at the same end of the larger Giles Co. of those years.
This conclusion is bolstered by the names that Uriah and Nancy (Taylor) BELL appear to have given their children: Joseph (?) for her father, Frances (?) for her mother, and George Taylor for her grandfather (c.1726-1801), who with his sons had been instrumental in first settling the Sinking Creek valley. This may also indicate that Henry (?) was named for Uriah’s father, but I’ve gotten nowhere with this clue -– it seems just as likely that he was named for Uriah's neighbor, in-law and co-executor Henry TROUT.
No such patterns can be extracted from the names that Tarlton and Margaret gave their children, in large part because nothing is known about Margaret’s parents. In addition, neither Tarlton nor Uriah named a son for his brother (?), but then again they didn’t name any sons for themselves, either.
If Tarlton and Uriah BELL are indeed brothers, who were their parents? One researcher has suggested that Uriah’s father was name Tarlton, or perhaps Tarlton George, or perhaps just George BELL. There was in fact a George BELL on the 1782 tax list of Montgomery Co. VA, the precursor to Giles, but other evidence suggests that the brothers (?) came to Sinking Creek from Botetourt Co. VA. There are several BELL families in Botetourt and neighboring Rockbridge Co., most of them tracing back to old Augusta Co. in the mid to late 1700s, but I have thus far found no convincing links to Sinking Creek in Giles and Craig counties.
I would be grateful for corrections to the foregoing narrative and any additional details or leads that would shed new light on these brothers (?) and the other BELL families of early Botetourt and Giles counties, including those of Jeremiah, Robert, Victor, and Buchanan BELL. I will of course be happy to share the information I have compiled to date, which comes from a variety of sources. Thanks very much, in advance, for your assistance.
