No - not yet.

My best choice would be Stephen Hughes married Betsy Fannon in 1814 - but that's only because the marriage is the last time I found Stephen in Giles County. There is a strong possibility that he is listed with David Hughes in the 1830 census.

There is a James Hughes in the 1840 census with a slew of children, but this census is the only Giles County census I found him in. He's the second posibility because William is listed in the 1840 census, with what must be his siblings (they fit the age group for George W. (m. Susannah Jones) and Susanah Hughes Woodyard).

There is a May Hughes (age either 30 or 50) living in the hh of Samuel Fraser in 1850. Also listed in this hh is James Jones, age 21. I wonder if this could William's mother.
