Dear Marilyn
Iam also doing some research to find my Great Great Grandfather David Lucas. All i know is that his name was David and he was killed by a renegade on his farm, sometime between 1875 and 1900. The reason i am writing is that his wife was a Marjorie Ellen Sanders Lucas. Have you done any research on your Sanders side. I have been told that she was full blooded cherekee and that after david was killed she moved with her seven kids to Trace Creek , West Virginia, which is now Hurricane W. Va. in Putnum County. I am at a dead am i very desperate.

Thanks Russ
