Have you been in contact with Nyla DePauk (NCreed1@aol.com)?
She is also a descendant on the Williams line thru another son of Jeremiah. Nyla does a lot of work with the Raleigh Co Genform and has some great ideas as well as information.
Some Phillips appear in my line as well. Because WV was part of Va for so long perhaps the origin was WV not VA.
I found my missing grandmother thru location of death cert. but don't know that is available in this case. I would check with Nyla and also check the wealth of Census info on Raleigh Co Genform if you have not already. Sorry, Wish I knew your answer.
