Gayle,
I am also seeking Watsons who were in Frederick County, then Berkeley County, Va. It appears the descendants went then to Jefferson County, Va, now West Va.
There were two John Watsons who were on a list for a lot in Gerrardstown, Berkeley County in 1784. And other Watsons, such as a Henry who gave bond for the marriage of Elizabeth Watson(presumed to be his dau.) to Thomas Chenoweth in berkeley Co. in 1803. Let me know if this is your line. Greg
