Could that be Lilly Mae Profitt Willis Janney? If so, I have some information and a couple of pictures of her. My Maternal grandfather was a Willis. (William Thomas Willis). He had four siblings by this marriage. His mother was Lilly Janney (June 2', 1875-December 25, 1958). When her first husband (my great grandfather) died she married Field Janney. They had four children together: Annie, Carl, Teeny and Taylor. Field Janneyi insisted Lilly get rid of her first family and the story goes, she " gave away" my grandfather and his siblings to relatives and other family members, although they stayed in contact. "Grandma Janney" had twins that died as infants and they're buried in Christiansburg. Lilly's parents were: William A. Proffitt and Mary Spangler.
