I am researching the Janney family of Franklin Co., Va. A couple of times I have
run across the name Parrott Janney. I also
saw a marriage bond for a John Dixon and Lucy
Parrott. Another Janney named Sparrel Parrott Janney. Have been trying to find a
connection of the two families. I think the
Dixon/Parrott marriage was late 1790's. I also saw a Tharp Parrott in the tax list of
Montgomery Co. in 1782. This may not help,
but may give you a few names to check out.
