Hi Melissa,
My Nathaniel Cooper I think had a brother named Arthur Cooper and perhaps a son with the same name. Nathaniel Cooper died before 1826 because I saw a land deed of that year where he was deceased. I recently came across a Chancery suit in Franklin County VA regarding a suit in 1827 against Nathaniel Cooper's Will administrators. So I'm assuming his will was presented in Franklin County and he is buried perhaps in Cooper's Cove? I would so appreciate it if you could check for me.
Also I tried to access that article about Arthur Cooper from the Roanoke paper but couldn't access it. Do you by chance have a coppy you could e-mail?
