Searching for Virginia Units fron Franklin County, Va. Trying to find service of Daniel Boon/Boone b. 4/10/1828 d. 6/20/1865 and is buried in the Turner family plot at Peters Cemetery. He died soon after coming home from the war of White Swelling. I know he was in the war as his wife Martha (Turner)Boon received a Military Alotment of 15 dollars in March of 1864 and 20 dollars in Oct. of 1864.
There was several Daniel Boone's in Franklin Co., We find his wife Martha moving to Indiana, Franklin Co. Kansas, Washington Co. Kansas, Oklahoma Co., Oklahoma. she died in California in 1904.
Would appreciate any information.
Thanks
Frank Conner
