Hi All,

Stumbled across this BB, very nice ideas, I researched my genealogy back in the 80s, ran into alot of dead ends, the families were scattered around Thornton's Mountain, my father and I actually restored a small Young cemetery located inside the woodline next the site of Isaac Young's General Store which was the enlistment station for Co. B of the 57th VA CSA. I have been doing Gettysburg research and sparked a new interest to find that alot of my family died during Picketts charge on July 3 at Gettysburg. Makes my heart heavy to read about those spirit filled boys, if anyone has anything to share about these families I would love to share also.

Regards
Greg
