I have the book "Over the Mountain Men - Their Early Court Records in Southwest Virginia" compiled by Anne Lowry Worrell, initially in 1934, last update 1976. In the Franklin county marriage records in this book it lists: Capper (Caper), Thomas, and Elizabeth Craven. David Overhold (the minister) sur. Nov. 23, 1799. It also lists a Capper, Samuel, and Darbara(not barbara) Prillaman: Jacob Prillaman (minister) sur. - Feb 11, 1806. Maybe "Craven" is the real name rather than "Crawn", but of course Craven may not be correct. Hope this helps.
