Do you have any info on a Tazwell Martin.
My gr. uncle Peter Janney sold land to him in
1895. I have been searching for this land
for several years as my ggf,Burwell Janney and wives, Mary Radford Janney and Betty
Janney Ray Janney & my gggrandparents, Moses
and Margaret Dixon are buried there. I can't
find to whom Taz sold the land. It in later
years has been purchased by two Companies
which I think may be Logging Co.but, at last
look no taxes had been paid on the land for
4 years. In the original sale by P. Janney,
1/2 acre was given to Elias Radford brother
of M.Janney above. We think that may be the
burial site. Any help greatly appreciated.
