Rhonda; looks like you and I may have some of the same kin;my BLANKENSHIP line goes back to early 1800 (that I know of) in Franklin Cty.Va. My grgrandfather, Thomas M. & his wife, Nancy Jane Shoemaker Blankenship, are buried near Redwood in the Blankenship-Shoemaker cemetery (a 2 acre plot in a field west of Road#705 Harvey Road)1 or 2 miles north of U.S.40. I would love to have a picture of the you think some of your people might be able to do this?
Also you mention PERDUE; my grandmothers' brother Henry Wesley Blankenship married Patria Perdue about 1900; Maude Hodges was I think Aunt Pates' niece (n0t sure about that but she lived with Aunt Pate for awhile in Reidsville, N.C. My grandmother was Della Frances Blankenship Jarrett. Please get back with me, when you can.
