I am seeking any information on the above Confederate soldier. He joined Co.E, 57th Va. "Pig River Grays" on April 22, 1862 at Fort Dillard, N. C. for 3 years. He was sick in hospital at Petersburg,Va.in July 1862. He returned to duty and was captured at Five Forks on April 2, 1865 and sent to Point Lookout, Md. Union prison camp. He was paroled on June 23, 1865. He listed his place of residence on his parole as Franklin Co.,Virginia.
