Hello Milly, I asked my husband about Dr.Sam.He said that Dr.Sam 's first wife died after buying the large plantation called Algoma and then he married his wife's third sister. Then ahe died and the place was bought by a Tilley Anderson, he died and then Louis Nichols bought it. Mrs. Nichols still owns the main house but the farm and land was split and sold by her son. That is all I have at the time being but I will try to get more for you. Carol
