I am looking for an Obituiary and the grave for "Bud" John P. Jefferson from Floyd County, Virginia who died sometime between 1903 and 1910. He married Lillie Cockran in 1895, her parents were William Harvey and Millie Jane Cockran. Family sources said doctors from Roanoke, Va drove horse and buggy to operate on him for mastoids. He was operated on a kitchen table under a weeping willow tree when they hit an artery and he died. My father-in-law who was between 6 and 8 at the time, watched as the blood flowed off the table. We believe he may be buried on private land near Tuggles Gap.
