Hope to find church record of a marriage in Floyd co VA from 1847.Peter Cock and Lucinda Cox certificate 6 Dec. 1847 marriage 18 Nov 1847 minister Owen Sumner.The marriage record is lost or misplaced in Floyd Co. So I was hoping some record from the church info might confirm the parents of Peter Cock. Alderman's book says John Cock and Jane Phillips but DAR wants more proof.thanks susan cox
