Phillip Sowers, 1802 Floyd County, VA
According to Zion Lutheran Church records Phillip Sowers
was born 23 March 1802 and baptized 30 April 1805 and was the child of George Sowers and Elizabeth Epperly Sowers. He married Margaretha Epperly 10 December 1832.

There was a much earlier Phillip Sowers born 1770 in Maryland who was the son of John Sowers and Sophia last name unknown Sowers.
