Hi, Janelle, thanks for the note. I think the Thaddeus Browne in Upper Hanover is the son of the one in Henrico, as he's listed as Jr. I missed that the first time around. The other thing is that there are lots of Thaddeus Brownes in the north - three of them were Rev. soldiers - one each from NY, Conn., and Mass. I read somewhere on a county website that northern VA counties actually advertised in northern newspapers for farmers to come south shortly after the Revolution. Maybe Thaddeus was one of them?
