Alice Nash Foster

My grandmother, Alice Nash Foster, was born in Roanoke, Virginia in 1899 to George Nash Foster and Alice Laurie Oliver. In 1904, George died and the family moved up to Fauquier County, Virginia, where Alice was from. My grandmother grew up in the Midland/Casanova area. I believe she worked for the Treasury department in 1918 or 1919, maybe earlier. She used to tell me about riding the train from Casanova to Washington DC every day for work. I have pictures of her and all her co-workers in front of the Treasury building. Is there any way to verify this? She married my grandfather, Louie Harry Warren, in 1920 and they started a family; this meant she quit her job.

Any on-line sources would be greatly appreciated.

Thanx
L
