Helen, thank you for your interest! Its greatly appreciated. My family's name has only been spelled 2 ways.
Kenny and Kenney, I have no clue as to why some add or drop the "e" at the end. My family appears on the 1830 and 1850 Census of Fauquier County, Virginia. My Great Grandfather William is 9 years old on the 1850 Census and his father Richard is listed as being 38 years old at the time. Is you book available at the Fauquier County Library?
