Will, You didn’t state why he was going by Cooper rather than Moore. Perhaps he was adopted and used the Cooper name for a while and later reverted back to his birth name. At any rate, there is a Daniel G. Moore buried in Arlington National Cemetery. His dates are April 5, 1915 – January 10, 1998. He is buried at Section 60, site 6082. He served in the Army and retired with the rank of Major. There were two entries for Daniel, suggesting that perhaps someone was buried with him. Go to: http://gravelocator.cem.va.gov/j2ee/servlet/NGL_v1. From the SSDI, his last residence was in Falls Church, Va.

Daniel’s wife was Frances H. Moore, but was called “Pam” by her friends. She died December 30, 2008, at her home in Alexandria, Va. She was 82. She was born Frances Kaltenbacher in Shelbyville, KY. She was survived by a daughter Pamela S. Moore of DC and a niece Mrs. Sara Jane Knight of Falls Church, VA. She was buried at Arlington, no doubt with Daniel. If you have access to Ancestry.com, you can find a 2002 phone number and address for Pamela S. Moore. As of that year, she was living in DC. Good luck with your research.
