I am seeking information on a William McDowell.He was born in 1761 in Maryland and died in 1838 in Trimble County,Kentucky. He was a resident of Loudoun County,Virginia and enlisted into the Revolution. Soon after the end of the Revolutionary War William moved to Fairfax County,Virginia and then back to Loudoun County, Virginia where he lived until 1809 and moved to Fayette County, Kentucky. I believe that William could have married a Sarah ? and had several children in the Loudoun County or Fairfax area. I am looking for birth information on the children possibly a George McDowell or marriage records or any information available at all on this family I would greatly appreciate it.
