I am researching the Williams Family in Fairfax Co. My ancestor was John Williams. I do not know when he was born because he was deceased by the 1850 census where I find his wife Nancy (b. 1809) is living with their children. They had the following children:
1. Margaret b. 3 May 1829
2. John W b. 16 Apr 1833
3. Mary Eliza b. 17 Jun 1838
4. Ann Matilda b. 1840
5. Alphina b. 1 May 1843
6. George L b. 1845
John died without a will and I think the book which would have contained his administration, is missing from the courthouse. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
