Donaldson Family of Fairfax County-Donaldson Park, Donaldson Run

I am seeking any info on the Donaldson Families of Fairfax, VA (especially in the Alexandria area. My great great grandfather (John W. Donaldson) was born there in 1824. He appeared in the 1850 census of Fairfax County, married to Margaret Ann Mills. They had two sons-Walter Benjamin (my great grandfather) b. 1848 and William P. (b. 1850). I have reasons to believe that the Donaldson Park area of Alexandria, as well as the Donaldson Run area, are named after my family. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
