I Thomas Flood of the County of Farifax and state of Virginia being of sound mind and memory do make and declare this to be my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me heretofore made. first I give to my son James Flood and his heirs forever all that tract or parcel of Land lying in the County aforesaid being the same tract of Land which I purchased from James Hurst 2d I give to my daughter Lydia Wilkinson two hundred dollars, 3d I give to my daughter Jane Beavers two hundred dollars. 4th I give to my daughter Eleaner Scholfeld Sixty dollars. 5 I give to my grandson William Beavers forty Dollars. It is my express will that the Land herein before devised to my son James Flood shall be subject to the payment of the above Legacies within one year 6 I give to my son James Flood the Lease I purchased from James Hurst and is adjoiing the Land herein devised to the said James. 7th I give to my grand daughter Gaby Beavers my bed and furniture All the residue of my personal estate money and debts due me, I give my aforesaid son James Flood. Lastly I give to my son Thomas Flood two Dollars, he having heretofore received his portion. I constitute and appoint my son James Flood my sole exor. In Whitness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this twenty fourth day of February eighteen hundred & fourteen. Thos (X his mark) Flood
Signed sealed & acknowledged to be the testators last will & testament in presence of John Moore, Joseph Powell

At a Court held for Fairfax County the 15th day of August 1814 This last will and testament of Thomas Flood deceased was presented in Court and proved by the oaths of John Moore and Joseph Powell as admitted to record and the said exor having performed what the Law requires Certificate is granted him for obtaining a probate thereof in due form.
