Posted by: Laura Hawley (ID *****3370) Date: October 04, 2007 at 08:29:06   of 571 DAR Magazine June/July 1960 pg.442 quote says"John Hawley who was a justice named to govern the new county of Loudoun, Va., when it was cut off from Fairfax, Va. in 1757, was Verstryman for Cameron Parish, Va.,in 1764, resigned on 10 Aug. 1779, Resignation is recorded in Order Book G., pg. 183 and dated March 10, 1793.
