I'm not related but I found this article about Everett's death. He died in 1953 at age 19, according to the Washington Post. That would mean he was born around 1934 so you won't find him in any of the censuses. The Washington Post October 9, 1953 page 18 Auto-Truck Crash Kills Alexandria Youth A 19-year-old Alexandria youth was killed in a truck-car collision yesterday [unrelated accident mentioned here], police reported. Everett Caldwell of 125 N. Washington st., Alexandria, was pronounced dead on arrival at Alexandria Hospital after the collision at Columbus and Wilkes sts., police said. They said Caldwell was a passenger in a dry cleaning truck driven by Dale T. Myers, 17, of 118 N. Royal st., Alexandria. Caldwell was nearly decapitated when his head went through the windshield. Myers and a second passenger in the truck, James Harris, 16, of 427 Cameron St., Alexandria, were treated at the hospital. Police said the car was driven by John Joyce, 63, formerly of Connecticut, who was en route to Florida with his wife, Mrs. Agnes Joyce, 59. She was treated at the hospital. The Joyces were stopping over to visit their daughter, Mrs. H.H. Angus of Fort Belvoir. Police said Myers was charged with manslaughter.
