Pages 195-96. Will of Elinor SANDERS, dated 31 Oct. 1739 [as transcribed, misspellings and all]:

Elenor Sanders of Prince William County being sick and weak in bead.
Unto my sister Rebecker Grifeth one gold ring and three chests.
To my daughter Elinor Vilett on Cloack and a white gound, one duble gound and one manttle.
Unto my daughter Margarett Hyde one feather bead and rugg and pr. of Blankets, six pewter plates, two pewter dishes, one gound and petticoats of Callemenkco (?) one pair of cottin stockins, one suite pinners, one pr. of gloves and holland shift and one mear and one lase hatt.
To my daughter Elizabeth Hairs one old feather bead, one old rugg, one blanket, one gound and petticoate of cottin stuff, one holland shift, one apin, one suite of bead cloaths, one iron pott.
Unto my daughter Mary Sanders one gound and peticoats of camletteens, also one quilted peticoate, one side sadle, one holland shift.
Unto my son Hundley Elder one shilling current money.
Unto my daughter Jemimy Elder two whestcoats one shift and two pr. of shews as Johnson owes me.
The rest of my estate I leave to be divided equally amongst my children.
I make ordain and appoint my son in law Edward Vilett whole and sole executor of this my last will and testament.

27 Nov. 1739. Presented in Court and proved by the oaths of the witnesses thereto and admitted to record. Then Edward Vilett the Exr. therein named refused the burthen of the executorship and on the motion of Charles Griffith and his giving security certificate was granted him for obtaining letters of administration with the will annexed.
