Its a TROTH thing

About 1830, Joseph TROTH, his wife Susannah, two sons, William J. and Samuel T., and two daughters, Susan and Amelia (all of MD) spent 3 years in the Fairfax, VA /DC area while their sister, Ann, was born. In 1833 they all moved to Pittsburg where they remained for another 50+ years.
In stock at the Fairfax Library is a complete microfilm collection of newspaper pages dating back to 1830 or so. In them are multiple mentions of TROTH family members doing many different things aside from Birth/Marr/Obit stuff. (Of course there are 1000's of other names.) My local library in Seattle was able to have them forwarded to me a few years ago, and altho I spent many days perusing the films, I wish I had them back now.
I'm confident that visitations of the Joseph TROTH family members were made again to the DC area in later years. Does anyone have have connections to the above mentioned names?
