John Evan's will was posted in the November Court, Loudoun co, VA, Nov 1767. Shows he was a blacksmith, wife: Elizabeth. sons: Griffith, William, Richard, David & Joshua. Daughters: Mary Evans, Amy (Emmet)Thomas and her children, Elizabeth Evans Witnesses: Joseph Marshall, Nathan Davis, John Davis. Elizabeths will, Loudon co, VA 9 Mary 1772, Sons: William, Joshua Daughter: Anne Thomas (same as Amy above) and Mary Gardner. Daughter in law Mary evans. Executors: sons William and Joshua. Witnesses: William Fox, James Coleman and Evan Davis. There is also mention of him in HINSHAW'S QUAKER RECORDS, Vol. 6, Virginia:, pg 636. Also: Virginia County Records, VI
