The only thing I saw-was more or less what you know (according to your earlier posting): Dimsey in 1850 Fairfax Census pg 130b 172a
James Henry Dimsey b 1861-father George born NY 1820-21 mother Jane (according to familysearch.org and census records) born 1820-21
Dimsey family from NY-you can trace back I am sure
James Henry siblings
George Frank b 1853 Fairfax, Susanna b 1855 Fairfax, Charles b 1857 Fairfax, Sarah b 1859 Fairfax
In 1880 Fairfax County Census they are all listed, George father is Carpenter and so is George F. -Charles is shown as Farmer. 1850 there is a George Dimsey in Ulster NY Lloyd Township-In the 1910 Fairfax Census if this is George then 1880 age is wrong-need to look at marriage record for ages when married-1910 George 58, Lillie 48, Martha 19, Grace Lee 22, George 18, Rosa 16, John 14, Ester 12, Suseanna 9. Between familysearch.org rootsweb google NY and VA, I think it is all there. Joy in Virginia (no kin)
