Hi Sandi,
I wish I could say I think we match, but my William was born 1785 and died 1851. He was a resident of Pickaway County when he died and is buried at the Reber Hill Cemetery in Walnut Twp., Pickaway County, Ohio. This county is about 35 miles south of Columbus, the capital of Ohio if you are not familiar with Ohio and its counties. His children were Sydner, Mary, George F., William Jr., born 1827, John, James, Francis M. and Edward W.

I have no mother or father for my William nor a maiden name of his wife Mary.

Best of luck to you in your search. I checked my records that I have found looking for my line of Cummins's and have no Simon in time period.
