I have put many messages on this board in hope that someone can come forward with information connecting their line to Edmund Paget born 1638 England and then to Essex County, virginia.
I know of no one who can furnish this information although some researchers claim Edmund as their ancestor.
My own line is stuck one generation from this terrible problem that Edmund has created for us.
Edmund's children most likley went Amherst,Bedford,Henrico,
Louisa,Virginia. And others to North & South Carolina, Kentucky, I write this message hoping that someone from these area's will come forward and get into the Padgett DNA
Group project. Others have relied on DNA and the results are very postive in making connections or even dis-proving lines with the same SURNAME. A DNA kit mailed to you and a small swab of the inside of your cheek is all that is necessary. FamilyTree DNA is where i have my results stored for 25 years, so others may compare their results with mine. If someone(1) from a line other than mine will do this ,I may even share some of the costs.I am desperate and pushing 70 years old. Would love to solve some of these problems before my time is up.
