Little Egypt (or Cedar Park), in Tappahannock

Can anyone provide evidence of the origin of the name Little Egypt (sometimes Cedar Park), tied to a house and/or land tract located at the southwest end of Prince Street in Tappahannock, now identified at 515 Faulconer Circle? The house was featured in the "Green Book" of Essex County Homes in 1957 with that appelation. It did not appear in the earlier 1940 version of the same publication. As early as 1907, a survey was done of the 19-1/2 acre property, by then owning family J.W. Faulconer, and at that time no name was attached to the land tract. A road sign out front of the house, presently, notes "Little Egypt, 1750."
