Hello Stephen-
Thanks for writing re the Minatree query. Yes, we believe my Martha A. to be the sister of this David Minitree (varied spellings). I live in Giles co., TN where the Minatree/Colston families came into from neighboring Marshall and Lincoln Co., TN about the same time. Some of both families left Giles/Lincoln Co., TN after 1880, were in TX by 1900 census.
Thanks for writing, and sending me this info though; we never know when we might help someone.
There are Moody families in the Franklin Co., TN ares. Have one Moody/Taylor line there. You might search that area, and really you are apt to find any type of spelling.
Will forward your note to another Minatree researcher.
Take care, keep in touch.
gladys
