I have the same information from a book shown in "Pioneers .. of Central Alabama..." by Madge Pettit. It says that Isham was the son of a Thomas Scott Coleman, from
Dinwiddie County, VA. I have descendants from Isham Jefferson Coleman. Wife was Mary Elizabeth Ray married Dec. 12, 1823. Children of Isham Jefferson and Mary Ray were:

Willam Goodwin + 11 other children. William is my descendant.

I should receive more information about these COLEMAN's going to TEXAS in the mail soon.
Let get in touch.

Thanks......
