Finally found E.P. Dingus, age 60, on the 1920 Letcher Co (Jenkins) census, occupation - Miner. His wife was listed as what appeared to be 'Erva', age 23 b. Va; children: Alva, 19 (think this must be the one listed as Albert); Emory 5 b KY; Grover 3 b. Va; Lucy 1-6/12 b, Va.
Maybe Emory Patrick Dingus died before 1930 as I sure can't find him. Did find in Letcher Co, Ky - Alva L., age 28 & wife, Tennessee, age 21, b. Va. Living in their household was Lucy, Sister, age 11, b. Va.
Next door to Alva L. Dingus was John W.Dingus, age 42, m. 20 years; his wife, Mad__l, age 35, m. 20 years; children:
Ralph A. 18; Burlin B. 15; Nora C. 11; John W. 7; Mary H. 1-2/12; Hobert G., age 8, Nephew.
Then on the 1930 Dickenson Co (Ervinton Dist), I found Grover Dingus, age 14, as Boarder/Ward in the household of Worley Powers, age 38 and his wife, Winnie, age 33. Their children were twins....Earl and Pearl, ages 1-10/12,
Hope this helps!
