Thank you for your response. My maiden name is Elkins. Toby and Mertie Elkins were my grandparents. We left Clintwood when I was 5 to move to Michigan. My parents moved back in 1974. My father is buried with my grandparents, aunts and uncles in Crabtree cemetery. There is a spot for my mother when she passes. So I still have a strong connection. I have some history for my grandfather. I am interested in my grandmothers side. No one can tell me very much. If I remember correctly, my grandmother said her mother was Elizabeth Cantrell. I really have no other information. Anything you can tell me would be helpful. Thanks again.
