Carol,
My post was in response to Chris, who was asking about the death records. Yes, I'm very familiar with Dickenson and Wise Counties' histories as I lived in the area for close to 30 years, and spent many of those years researching my family members who passed back and forth through the two counties, and on into Kentucky. I have a "Young" ancestor way back there, from Tazewell County, and have loads of names in Dickenson and Wise Counties, and in KY....Mullins, Bartley, Sykes, Moore, Childers, Bentley, Fleming, Anderson......and that's only a start of them. What families do you research there?
