Earl David Ingram MANSFIELD -- Earl David Ingram, 92, died Friday, April 13, 2007, at Woodlawn Nursing Home following a brief illness. Earl was born Aug. 27, 1914, in Mortimer, N.C., living in the Mansfield area most of his life. He retired from Westinghouse, was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in World War II, an avid outdoorsman, loved gardening, and was a dedicated grandfather and great-grandfather who will be sadly missed by all. Surviving are two grandchildren, Amy (Mark) Snyder of Mansfield and Jeremy Eugene (Kendra) Ingram of Xenia; six great-grandchildren, Ashley Nicole and Elizabeth Dawn Swiger, Taylor Paige and Savannah Marie Snyder, Wyatte Eugene Ingram and Anastasia Rose Smith; three brothers, Andy Ingram of Mansfield, Herbert and Paul Ingram of South Carolina; one sister; Cora Ingram of Virginia; and a daughter-in-law, Anita Rose Ingram of Mansfield Earl was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Thelma Irene Lozier; one son, Steve David Ingram; three brothers, Carl, Corbin Jr. and Addie Ingram. Friends may be received from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at Werner Funeral Services, 175 W. 3rd Street, Mansfield. Graveside services will follow at 1 p.m. in Mansfield Memorial Park with Pastor J. Hudson Thayer officiating. Full military rites will be observed by Richland County Joint Veterans Burial Detail at the graveside. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice.
