ELKINS of Dickenson County Virginia

I have William Tinker ELKINS, born 24 Nov 1890 in Virginia and died Oct 1967 in Kingsport, Sullivan County, TN.
He was the son of Alfred Hammer ELKINS and Margaret PHIPPS.
Most census records show Alfred and Margaret in Dickenson County.
William Tinker married 1924 to Martha Imogene EDWARDS.
However, there was a marriage before that. I don't know the name of the spoouse but the story is that Tink married and went off to the military [possibly WWI], came back and divorced his first wife.
I need to know if anyone has a marriage for a William ELKINS in or of Dickenson County that took place from 1908-1923.
Also - does anyone have any information on names of those buried in the ELKINS cemetery in Dickenson County, VA?
